In our next chapter of our ZINVO's Favourites, we take a look at one of America's most popular cities—Los Angeles. A place full of glamour and grit, a mix of high and low, and a unique style to call its own, we get plenty of inspiration for our ZINVO timepieces from the City of Angels.
An incredible 45.5 million visitors visited Los Angeles last year, making it one of the world's leading tourist hubs. Home to Hollywood, gorgeous beaches, and fun-filled theme parks, it's easy to easy why.
An absolute must-do on a trip to Los Angeles is a stop in Hollywood—the globe's centre of entertainment. This is where the masters of film, television, and music make their magic. Take a stroll on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and see how many of your favourite celebs have their stars forever imprinted into the pavement. We couldn't resist taking a picture of our ZINVO Blade Silver watch with Vin Diesel's star. While you're there, catch a movie at the legendary Chinese Theatre. You never know, you may even see a Hollywood star or two walking the red carpet of a film premiere.
Also, don't miss all the great restaurants, pubs, and clubs in and around Hollywood for some great food, drink, and dancefloors.
One of the most alluring advantages of the sprawling metropolis of Los Angeles, is the proximity to stunning beaches along the Californian coast. There are plenty of beach cities to head to for a walk along the piers and boardwalks. Some of the most popular include Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu. If you plan on swimming or surfing in the Pacific Ocean, understand that it's one very cold and powerful body of water! This ocean is not for the faint of heart.
Make time to catch at least one sunset over the Pacific, it's a sight that you won't soon forget.
For some real fun, experience the theme parks that Los Angeles and the surrounding areas have to offer. Drive down to Anaheim in Orange County and enter the enchanting world of Disneyland. Alternatively, if you're into real thrills, drive inland to Six Flags Magic Mountain for some of the craziest roller coasters you'll ever ride. Or, if you want to stay local, then plan a day at the Universal Studios Hollywood and check out the backlot tours to see how movie magic happens. And don't forget, Universal Studios just opened The Wizarding World of Harry Potter too.
There you have it, a quick rundown of what to see on a trip to LA. So what are you waiting for? Plan your trip and pack your bags—don't forget to bring a killer watch that can keep up with your adventures.
Every time we find ourselves in this buzzing coastal city, we can't help but feel more inspired and creative. And that is why Los Angeles is definitely a ZINVO Favourite.
